Cancun is home to large shopping malls like La Isla Shopping Village, Plaza Kukulcan, Plaza Forum and Luxury Avenue. Souvenirs are available at places like Plaza La Fiesta and Coral Negro Flea Market. Plaza Las Americas, located in downtown Cancun close to the Hotel Zone entrance is a huge, modern mall that offers, department stores, boutiques, salons, jewelry shops, movie theaters, a food court, restaurants and family entertainment.

If you’re in the mood to skip the all inclusive buffet, dine in one of Cancun’s countless restaurants that serve cuisine from all over the world… Italian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese and of course Mexican. Most of Cancun’s restaurants are located on Nichupte Lagoon, where you’ll witness the breathtaking sunsets. Lorenzillo’s is one of Cancun’s oldest and most beloved restaurants. Thai Lounge in La Isla Shopping Village offers private over-the-water huts. There are also smaller, economical eateries like The Surfin Burrito and Blue Gecko Cantina.
